Providing solutions that include information management, digital conversion, and secure storage and destruction, as well as art handling and collections management services, Iron Mountain helps customers lower cost and risk, comply with regulations, recover from disaster, and enable a digital way of working with their unique assets and collections.

Responsibilities:

Iron Mountain is hiring temporary workers to assist in moving the UWSP Library collections this summer. Our Library and Archival Services team will be working closely with the UWSP librarians to organize and move collections to another campus building and an offsite storage building within 15 minutes of the Library. Temporary workers will pack books and boxes, move carts, and reshelve books and other library materials as directed. Work alongside librarians and archivists to carefully move the library materials following best practices for collections. Workers will be trained by our Library experts to safely handle books, archival materials, and other Library formats.

Hiring part-time and full-time positions with competitive hourly salaries for positions starting in late May. Students and recent graduates are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $12.00 per hour

Shifts are Available: Monday – Thursday 7:00am – 5:00pm (with 3 breaks per day)

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 18 years old.

  • Be able to pass a pre-employment substance abuse screening and a background check.

  • This position requires the ability to stand/walk for the full 8 hour shift as well as lifting/carrying up to 60 pounds.
