Iron Mountain Warehouse Technician 2 in Sterling, Virginia

The Warehouse Technician 2 position is responsible for general activities within operations including but not limited to unloading and loading of trucks, moving and weighing pallets/equipment, sorting material, completing inventories, picking orders, fulfilling orders, auditing equipment, repairing equipment, and dismantling of material.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Possess and apply a broad working knowledge and understanding of WITS

  • Possess and apply a working knowledge of Tera-Ware

  • Provide training to new employees and employees being cross-trained

  • Safely operate all tools needed in performing tasks at hand

  • Maintain a Clean and Safe Work Area

  • Ensure safety at all times

  • Ensure Security and customer brand protection at all times

  • Other responsibilities and duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

  • Proficient in more than one operational area

  • Mastery in one or more operational areas

  • English reading, writing and communication skills

  • High School or equivalent, degree

  • Broad knowledge of internet and data entry

  • Broad knowledge of computer related equipment

  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 60 pounds required

  • Manual dexterity required for operating tools and equipment
