We aim to be the primary service provider for the people and entities responsible for the care, movement, and long-term preservation of art and culture. To that end, as our new Tampa, FL facility Operations Manager, the candidate is responsible for all storage accounts, client services, operations and administration within the Tampa area market. In addition, the candidate will work directly with the operations teams, overseeing all areas of the business and facility, ensuring the safety and integrity of all things Crozier has to offer.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage workload and facility staffing while continuously reviewing areas of responsibility to increase productivity and improve efficiency

  • Coordinate logistics, art handling activities and third-party vendors for the facility.

  • Assumes daily operational control of the facility, managing the financial performance and ensuring appropriate allocation of resources

  • Meeting monthly financial targets set by the company, reviewing P & L statements as well as preparing/monitoring the annual operating budget by checking costs, overhead, and all facility-related financial charges.

  • Responsible for maintenance, safety/security, general upkeep, and appearance of the facility.

  • Customer Relations stretch from general interactions, providing tours, development business opportunities, and address client issues/concerns.

  • Approve staff payroll and ensure all labor hours are tracked and accurate.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years proven management experience and/or Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts or related field with relevant management experience

  • Experience managing all aspects of a facility (i.e. work schedules, allocating resources, budgeting, etc) preferred

  • Industry standard of art logistics, including current packing, handling, storage, and transportation methods, materials, and equipment best practices

  • Skills - communicate clearly, effectively and professionally in writing/verbally; work autonomously; organized and detail oriented; able to maintain discretion

  • Able to use or learn technological systems such as AIMS, Excel, Google Suite, and other Microsoft Office programs.
