The Operations Trainer is an integral member of the operations team and provides support and partnership throughout the onboarding and training process. He or she will be responsible for a positive new employee experience during the onboarding and training process, working closely with hiring managers and facility leadership.
Full Time Schedule Options: Monday - Friday (weekends as needed) generally working 8am - 5pm

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:
Facilitate in-person new hire onboarding and training classes for new employees.
Facilitates or ensures completion of all required Iron Mountain e-learning modules for new hires.
Facilitates On-the-Job training for new hires.
Ensure new hires are trained and competent in all necessary Consumer Storage workflow technologies
Assists in sourcing, initial screening of applicants and recruitment activities when needed.
Assists with employee inquiries and connects employees to the right subject matter expert when necessary.
Be a Safety Advocate for the Consumer Storage business
In partnership with facility leadership, ensures the work environment is representative of Iron Mountain’s core values.
Some travel in the US and Canada will be required, up to 40%.
Scheduled hours will vary depending on the needs of the business and may include weekends.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred and at least one year of related experience to include internships, ideally in Management, Human Resources or Training.
Motivated self-starter with the ability to multitask in a rapidly changing environment while prioritizing competing demands.
Strong problem solving, project management, and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Proven experience working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
Ability to work in a team environment and drive cooperation with others.
Strong listening, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to ensure the accuracy of highly detailed and confidential information
Customer focused and proactive with excellent follow-up and a sense of urgency
Effective Communication skills, both verbally and written
Exceptional organizational skills
Proficiency with technology and systems with ability and willingness to learn and train employees on new systems
Positive attitude, able to easily build relationships across multiple functions and business units
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Stress resilient planner & organizer with a pragmatic problem solving approach
