The Technology Compliance Officer will oversee the development, implementation, and management of the company's technology compliance program. This role ensures that all technological operations adhere to relevant regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry best practices. The Technology Compliance Officer works closely with IT, legal, and business units to address compliance risks, develop effective controls, and establish processes for ongoing compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Program Management
Develop, implement, and manage technology compliance policies and procedures.
Create a compliance monitoring program to assess adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations.
Collaborate with leadership to establish compliance goals and strategies.
Reporting and Documentation
Generate and present compliance reports for senior management and relevant regulatory bodies.
Maintain detailed documentation of compliance activities, including audits, risk assessments, and remediation efforts.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate with IT, Legal, Security, and other relevant departments to support compliance initiatives and ensure aligned practices.
Serve as a point of contact for technology related inquiries and communicate with the relevant external vendors for resolving them.
Handle communication between outsource vendor and company’s requirements for infrastructure maintenance, support and updates.
Skills and Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Compliance, or related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
2+ years of experience in IT compliance, technology risk management, or related fields.
Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, risk management practices, IT governance and IT infrastructure. Familiarity with data privacy laws and security standards.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with stakeholders.
A high standard of ethics and integrity.
