Key responsibilities:

  • To support the Head of fine art projects and storage in the management, maintenance, development and growth of Crozier Hong Kong Fine Art Storage.

  • To support the Head of fine arts and storage in the delivery of maximizing efficient use of storage and operation areas maintaining a safe working environment for all of our Crozier team and visitors to our facilities.

  • To manage Crozier’s fine art warehouse operations, determining a strategy for all warehouse staff and job requests, leading and delegating teams to complete daily job requests and to plan for the working day and week accordingly.

  • To be the main contact point at their designated Crozier fine art storage facility to communicate with the Head of the department, warehouse managers, registrars, project leads, clients, stakeholders and sub-contractors.

  • To lead in the decision making and the handling of art works in the course of movement, storage, packing and Installation/De-installation within our Crozier Fine art storage facilities providing guidance and coaching during projects.

  • Processing and completing appropriate documentation (e.g. condition/packing and unpacking reports, documenting and updating storage inventory and location following Crozier procedures.

  • To work closely and collaborate with all Crozier departments to achieve storage projects and job requests to achieve our long term plans and ambitions.

  • To act as a liaison while at our Crozier facilities between clients and senior management.

  • Complying and managing teams at all times with security, maintenance and health and safety requirements at our Crozier fine art storage facilities.

  • To lead, delegate and plan accordingly for the efficient management and maintenance of our environmental conditions at our Crozier facilities maintaining temperature and humidity to Crozier storage standards.

  • To Plan, lead and initiate the loading/unloading of trucks ensuring the utmost safety of objects during transit at all of our Crozier fine art storage facilities.

  • To lead and delegate to teams at our Crozier facilities with the safe rigging/heavy object movement with Gantry/forklift/Crane or other specialized equipment.

  • To lead, manage and delegate the condition inspection and reports for objects within our facility when requested and to communicate with the project lead and Inventory associate accordingly.

  • To safely operate and manage the maintenance of all tools and equipment including heavy duty machinery (e.g. Forklift/gantry/electric stacker) at our Crozier facilities and to govern the safe use of all equipment by all of our Crozier team.

  • To lead on implementation of risk assessments and method statements to ensure safe working practices in compliance with all health and safety regulations and Crozier standards.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree / High Diploma or equivalent in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is preferred.

  • Proven experience in warehouse management or supervision, preferably in the Fine Arts.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Proficiency in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.

  • Counterbalance forklift certificate holder

  • Immediate availability is preferred
