Job Title: Scanning and Indexing Team Leader
Reports To: Scanning and Indexing Supervisor

Providing direction and supervision in order to deliver production targets and achieve objectives.
Main Functions (Accountabilities)
Provide support to staff, supervisors and managers alike.
Deputies for Scanning and Indexing Supervisor as directed.
Co-ordinating priorities, controlling the workflow.
Ensuring set targets are met.
Good performance is identified and acknowledged.
Problems recognised at an early stage and remedial action proposed.
Support Scanning and Indexing Supervisor with staff recruitment.
Strong man management skills
Collation and provision of reports on various information.
Provision of management information on quality, staffing, overtime, holiday, work schedules, incident reports, costs and period reports.
New and current procedures are continuously reviewed and updated.
Empowered to make decisions appertaining to the day to day running of the department. With reference, can make decisions in the following areas:
Day to day discipline
New procedures for final approval
Escalation of problems
Resolving procedural issues
Liaising with internal management and staff to ensure the smooth running of the team. These include:
All staff within the department
All other Team Leaders
Scanning and Indexing Supervisors
Ability to hold constructive team meetings
Methodical and accurate approach
Ability to deal with pressures associated with target driven area.
Knowledge of the principles of customer care.
Accomplished leadership skills operating within and creating a team environment.
Ability to co-ordinate and delegate.
Ability to collate, manipulate and analyse statistical data.
Knowledge of equal opportunities in the workplace.
Ability to identify and meet the development needs of the team.

Understanding of audit trails.
