Iron Mountain Vault Specialist Senior in Fairfield, Ohio

As a trusted partner to our clients there is a requirement that our Mountaineers must be vaccinated.

The Vault Specialist will perform regular processing of media, containers, inventory maintenance and required documentation of customer data stored in Iron Mountain vaults. Occasionally, this position will perform deliveries at our customer sites while operating a company van or truck. Must be available to work weekends and or holidays

  • Process open slot media and containers by filing media in/out of slots and cycling containers to/from shelves and racks

  • Complete and maintain all records and forms with respect to receiving and /or releasing customer data, including the filing of vault paperwork

  • Utilize SecureBase for inputting and tracking of all media/container processing

  • Answer incoming client phone calls and contact clients via telephone

  • Responsible for executing services requested by the clients in Iron Mountain facilities within the district

  • Process all internal moves including pulling customer material from one location and storing it in another location, investigating all exceptions and closing all work orders

  • Process all destructions including pulling required material, verifying it for accuracy, preparing it for destruction, investigating and resolving all exceptions

  • Research and resolve discrepancies encountered during above processes and communicate difficult issues or problems to supervisor

  • Prepare and process all vault paperwork necessary to accomplish the above processes

  • Observe all safety procedures and report safety issues

  • Perform deliveries and pick up of customer’s material while driving a company van

  • Operates and maintains company vehicle safely and efficiently, whether manual or standard transmission

  • Handles all physical requirements for loading, transporting and driving without assistance

  • Executes accurate and timely handling of client delivery requests

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • High school or equivalent

  • Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class 5 driver’s license and a good driving record

  • Demonstrate safe and efficient driving skills – with vehicles such as company size vans

  • 3 months experience in a service industry – is an asset.

  • Attention to detail ability to understand and execute instruction and perform routine problem solving.

  • Aptitude for working in a repetitive work and fast paced environment.

  • Ability to interact with a variety of people inside and outside the organization.

  • Strong organizational and professional communication skills.

  • Capability of handling physical work which includes lifting and carrying an average of 40 pounds.
