Position - Senior Artworker (Large format graphics)

Location - Ansty

Salary -

An established team specialising in large format printing, serving a major world-wide brand are looking for a Senior Artworker to join their growing team.

The work includes banners, exhibition displays, room graphics, production boards and more.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the design/artwork department as well as being hands on preparing, checking, and adapting artwork ensuring it’s ready for large format print production.

You’ll be working closely with both the print production team and the creatives team.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring work coming into the department is prioritised and scheduled appropriately.

Assigning projects to members of the creatives team.

Overseeing a small but expanding team of artworkers.

Working closely with the print production department regarding work-flow.

Communicate with customers via email, telephone or site visits.

Prepare and adapt client artwork for large format printing, ensuring files are print-ready with the correct scaling, colour profiles, resolution etc.

Check files thoroughly for any errors or inconsistencies and make necessary amendments to meet print specifications.

Collaborate with the production teams.

Make changes to artwork based on client feedback.

Keep updated on the latest trends and best practices in large format printing and pre-press processes.

Manage and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced studio environment to meet tight deadlines.

Requirements:

This will be a demanding role for the right candidate. You will need to demonstrate past experience in a similar position and have in-depth knowledge of working within the large format print industry.

Strong leadership skills are essential.

Experience in preparing files for large format production.

Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, PDF).

Understanding of large format printing processes.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently when needed.

Excellent communication skills.
