Iron Mountain Warehouse Clerk - Data Entry/Document prep in Concord, Ontario

The Imaging Specialist is primarily responsible for performing the document preparation and scanning tasks. These tasks are performed within all DMS Imaging Centers. This role is vital in initiating the imaging process and obtaining our conversion objectives.

Schedule and Compensation:

  • $15.00 + Bonus program(Bi-weekly pay for performance)

Shift times - 2 different shifts

  • 2:30PM-11:30PM - Mon - Fri

  • 5:30AM Start - Sat- Tues

Position Overview:

  • This role is casual and can last 1-3 months with the potential for permanent employment

  • Reliability Clearance is considered an asset(premium added)

  • Ability to pass a criminal background check

  • Willingness and ability to obtain reliability clearance which can take up to 1-3 weeks.

  • Ability to perform data entry and document prep in a fast paced environment with accuracy.

  • Safe and clean environment

Responsibilities:

  • Accurately prep documents to be scanned and stored, removing staples

  • Detail-oriented data entry into system

  • Sorting and/or preparing hard copy records for scanning – document preparation

  • Scan hardcopy files to electronic images. Assuring a quality image

  • Follow production procedures and completing internal documentation & tracking

  • Adhere to Imaging Center guidelines of maintaining clean work environment

  • Other duties, as specified by Supervisor/Manager

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

  • Familiarity with PC and other computer related products.

  • Proficiency in reading, writing & communicating in English.

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with coworkers and management.

  • Must be able to maintain record order and sequence.

  • Must be able to understand the importance of detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work at a sustained pace to meet production rates while producing quality work.

  • Must be acceptable of change and long durations of project assignments.

  • Demonstrate understanding for the importance and value of customers.

  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • This role requires very minimum external contact and will communicate predominantly with Imaging Center personnel. This communication will consist of providing personal production updates and job specific questions/clarification.

  • Investigate and resolve any order discrepancy for incoming or outgoing orders; manifest all orders, bundle and prepare for shipment

  • Collaborate with team members

  • Observe safety procedures and report any safety issues

  • Perform all physical requirements without assistance

  • Mentor others as opportunities arise

  • Lift, load and move boxes (average weight: 40 pounds)

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Commitment to adhere to and enforce all security procedures
