Full Time

Shift: Can either work Day Shift start time 4:00 am or Night Shift start time 8:00 pm

Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly scheduled maintenance

  • Responsible for coordinator contractors conducting maintenance, service and repairs in the areas of plumbing, carpentry, painting, plastering, machine servicing, electrical or vehicle servicing.

  • Monitors employees work for productivity, quality and completion and make recommendations to the Maintenance Supervisor regarding staff assignments.

  • Utilizes knowledge of fundamental mechanical, electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or heating and cooling skills in performing assignments.

  • Operates common hand or power tools.

  • Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.

  • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment.

  • Supports all maintenance standards within the district.

  • Supports and helps maintain a safe and secure working environment in the facilities.

  • Performs light maintenance duties within the facilities (light bulbs, painting, etc.).

  • Responsible for performing and directing facility and grounds upkeep and repairs.

  • Perform other duties as requested.

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

  • Must be able to work overtime as required.

  • Must be on call 24/7.

  • Must have valid driver’s license.

  • Must be knowledgeable in the procedures and safety measures in areas of specialties.

  • Must have an understanding of OSHA rules and regulations.

  • Basic knowledge of trade skills

  • Strong organizational and verbal communication skills required.

  • Ability to use hand and power tools and to work independently.

  • High school diploma or equivalent trade school

  • At least 3 years of similar work experience.
