Digital Solutions Manager, Romania

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY…

We are looking for a customer obsessed, highly motivated and ambitious Digital Solutions Manager to join our team.

The Digital Solutions Manager will:

  • Be responsible for leading the Digital Solutions department and will be part of the Romania organization leadership team.

  • Lead digital solutions strategy delivery: implementation, opportunity identification and assessment, through strong collaboration with the pre-sale, sales, local and regional teams to drive the expected revenue growth.

  • Represents Iron Mountain to customers, prospects, partners, competitors, industry analysts and other significant parties.

  • Will maintain an up- to - date understanding of various industry trends, analyze and evaluate the marketplace, together with sales and pre-sales teams, to identify digital solutions opportunities/niches.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES…

  • Leads the day to day operations of the Digital solutions department;

  • Lead, coach, mentor, develop, cross-train and provide accountable standards and measures to the employees;

  • Address immediately customer issues, provide root-cause analysis and update the internal working procedures as needed to meet customer demands

  • Active participation in the operations, support and maintenance of all aspects of Digital solutions practices within Iron Mountain

  • Monitor and promote a strong customer service focus. Provide leadership for continuous improvement and innovation;

  • Support of the sales process, participation in customer meetings, the development of colleagues’ knowledge.

  • Analyzes the performance of current digital projects including win/loss analysis, financial performance, lessons learnt, ideas for improvement and provides strategic recommendations to Managing Director;

  • Manages staff utilization and cost efficiencies in order to meet customer demands, provides daily direction to employees in order to accomplish projects. Manage project timelines, quality and outcome of customers’ orders

  • Make recommendations to management on desirable additions, replacements or changes.

  • Responsible for the planning and communication of the DS processes, capabilities and capacity in order to facilitate orderly on-boarding of new business and ensure on time and efficient delivery of business as usual

  • Manage HR related items: scheduling vacation, managing timecards, assist in performance reviews, hiring and termination processes, as per IM internal procedures.

  • Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.

  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

  • Foster close working relationships between Sales, Executive and Operations teams to effectively leverage expertise and resources, and utilize cross-functional teams to maximize and focus resources on the achievement of business objectives.

  • Drives the development and execution of short-term and long-term regional (SEE cluster) digital solutions strategies and roadmaps, validating with customers and modifying accordingly.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree is a must. IT / Automation Systems degree is an advantage. Postgraduate degree will be a plus;

  • Project management certification will be a plus.

Experience:

  • Strong technical background and organizational skills;

  • Subject matter expert on DS operational procedures and best practices

  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisor role ideally within imaging/digital services.

  • Experience must include a strong emphasis on people management and operational productivity;

  • Excellent knowledge of computer and scanner operations with some knowledge of networking
