Junior Quality Management Systems Specialist, GBS

This role is a key member of the Enterprise Business Process Improvement team that will use the Global Business Services (GBS) platform to support the standardization of processes across the Iron Mountain enterprise. The main focus of this role is to support the establishment of a Quality Management System (QMS) framework for standardization of processes. This person will also be responsible to execute the QMS framework by supporting in documenting the critical processes in form of policies and standard operating procedures, process maps and support third party/customer audits

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support in Establishing GBS QMS Framework based on ISO 9001 standards

  • Support in process mapping using Signavio/Visio tool

  • Maintain and update the GBS process documents as needed

  • Create trainings and awareness content

  • Ensure training/briefings are done and support the teams in implementation of new processes

  • Manage governance around GBS process documentation (e.g. identification number of documents, approval and records of published documents etc.) as per GBS QMS policy

  • Conduct Internal Process Audits per the business needs to ensure compliance to the key requirements.

  • Support customer and third party audits

Candidate Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required

Background/ Experience

  • 4 to 5 years of experience with Quality Management System implementation and/or maintenance

  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards and framework

  • Experience drafting and maintaining policies, standard operating procedures, work instructions and governing these documents

  • Experience with communication and trainings related to new documents and roll out

  • Experience conducting and managing Process Compliance audits

  • Experience working with google site to create web page for QMS and link documents

  • Experience with developing a QMS framework and strategy for a global business preferred

  • Knowledge of SOX, CMMI and finance regulations and requirements preferred

  • Experience auditing SOX, CMMI and finance regulations and requirements preferred
