Destruction Technician Coordinator is responsible for enabling an efficient day-to-day Shred Plant operation by supporting the Plant Management team. Plan, organize and in all phases of the production process to assure the
facility operates in a highly efficient manner. Strong leadership to assure that the plant equipment is
maintained in a proactive manner.

PAY: Up to $22.00 per hour DOE (Paid biweekly)
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday(Occasional weekends)
HOURS: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (Shift includes OT hrs.)
LOCATION: 11701 Missouri Bottom Road Hazelwood, MO 63042
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operate, maintain, and diagnose issues with plant equipment
Operate small heavy equipment such as skid steers
Operate Iron Mountain powered industrial trucks/forklifts
Overseeing and scheduling the day to day activities of the plant and plant maintenance
Frequent communication with our Management team regarding status and quality of service
Ensure adherence to all security and operational procedures
Other transportation/plant activities as required by the needs of the company and the customer
base
Must be able to diagnose and maintain plant equipment
At least 5 years of mechanical experience preferred- including diagnosing issues, fixing, and
adherence to maintenance program and schedule

REQUIREMENTS:
It’s a 8 to 12-hour shift with aboutthree to five hours spent on forklift or performing “Bobcat” operations. The DT spends about five to seven hours standing while operating machinery or moving/lifting boxes and pulling/tipping two- and four-wheeled bins weighing 25 to 525 pounds (average bin weight is 170 pounds). The DT works in an atmosphere that is not climate controlled.
High school diploma or equivalent
Adhering to maintenance schedules
Lift at least 70 lbs
Walk, stand and sit for extended periods of time
Push, Pull bins from 25-350 lbs., with an average weight of 170 lbs
Be able to pass a pre-employment background check
Demonstrate safe and efficient operating and mechanical skills
Current experience shredding or recycling operations/warehousing environment
Ability to lift heavy bags, push rolling carts and pull two- and four-wheeled containers
Bobcat experience is preferred
Ability to follow directions
Ability to safely operate machinery
Ability to work well in a team environment
